Kooroongarra Cemetery

Probably once a much larger township, Kooroongarra is now almost virtually a ghost town.  An old Butter Factory and Church are the only distinctive buildings left.  The cemetery is on Cemetery Road and can be found by following the signs from the highway.  Kooroongarra is in Millmerran Shire and the cemetery would more than likely be administered by them.  We photographed the cemetery in March 2005 and the transcription represents all visible headstones at that time.  To view a photo of a headstone just click on a surname of interest.  If you would like an overall picture of the grave or a higher resolution photo of the headstone please just send us an email.  (ktish64@gmail.com)
