WELCOME TO OZ CEMETERIES

Background Info

We have been photographing cemeteries in and around South-East Queensland and Northern NSW for years and have finally decided to create a database to allow others easy access to our information.  We hope that it will be a useful tool for others interested in genealogy and history.

All the transcriptions have been taken from our original photos and  in the case of cemeteries in the Warwick Shire transcriptions have been crossed referenced to the local Council's burial records.

To see if we have photographed a cemetery click on our link for cemeteries. We are also happy to do look ups on the Warwick Shire Council's burial register so just send us an email. (ktish64@gmail.com)
 

Photographs

We have included some photos from smaller cemeteries on our site and they can be accessed simply by clicking on the name of interest. We are usually able to provide a higher resolution image of the same photo via email if it is necessary.  If no link exists for an online copy of the photo we are more than happy to email a copy of any photo you are interested in so feel free to contact us.  We still only email photos for larger cemeteries (ktish64@gmail.com).  All images can be freely used for any personal non-commercial use.

Unless stated otherwise this is simply a list of headstone transcriptions not a record of burial.  We are happy to correct errors in our transcriptions but will not make changes if it is the headstone that has the wrong information.  We are usually more than happy to add a note if this is the case although this is at our discretion.  Any of our transcriptions appearing on other sites such as Interment.net are retained there without our permission.  These transcriptions are not updated or corrected, so please don't ask.  (ktish64@gmail.com)
